The Friendship House Association of American Indians - Case Manager: 

The Case Manager provides individual client case management support to clients of a residential substance abuse treatment program, as directed by the Clinical Director and Director of Residential Recovery Services, ranging from intake and financial arrangements, through residential treatment and program completion.

Girls in the Game - After School Coordinator/Teen Programs Coordinator: The Coordinator organizes the Girls in the Game After School program at 5-7 schools throughout Chicago. The Coordinator establishes relationships with site contacts, recruits girls for the program, leads programming 4-5 afternoons each week, supports part-time coaches and volunteers working at their sites, tracks enrollment and attendance, and ensures the program’s overall success. Sports expertise is not required for this position. 

Migrant Farmworkers Assistance Fund - Youth Program Specialist: The Jesuit Volunteer who serves in MFAF’s Youth Program Specialist role will be responsible for the planning and facilitation of fun, appropriate, and relevant programming to engage youth particularly, the children of migrant and seasonal farmworkers in opportunities for social and educational development.

Notre Dame School of Milwaukee-Girls' Middle School - Enrichment/Academic Assistant: The JV position would work in classrooms as well as help support after school enrichment programming such as clubs, youth sports, and other activities beyond the scope of the normal school day. 

Providence Center - Youth Organizer: The Youth Organizer will work with both children and high school students to build community, develop new skills, and organize and facilitate engaging activities and experiences. The Youth Organizer will serve as a Lead Teacher in the Power After School Program for groups of elementary students grades K-8 in a classroom. This involves creating and leading engaging activities to build social emotional skills, and supervising snack, homework, play time, field trips, and more for a group of 10-14 children. Lead Teachers also create and facilitate a club of their choice that meets twice a week (such as art, STEM, dance, gardening, etc.). At Providence Center, teens serve as role models for the children in our elementary school program, and we are committed to building their skills to be powerful forces for change within their community. Working with our Program Coordinator, the Youth Organizer will be at the heart of this process, reaching out, supporting, challenging, and following these emerging young leaders as they mentor younger children, and pursue their own college and career aspirations. The Organizer will also support community family programming such as fairs, and family engagement events on-site.

Mustard Seed School, Sacramento Loaves & Fishes - Teaching Assistant: The teaching assistant position serves children who come to Mustard Seed School for emergency schooling while their families are experiencing homelessness. The position serves children ages 3 to 15, in preschool through eighth grade.  Responsibilities include:  A. Being present for children experiencing homelessness. B. Working together with staff to meet the unique needs of each child, physically, emotionally, and academically. C. Assisting and co-teaching in preschool through 8th-grade classrooms. D. Supervising our playground. E. Substitute teaching in classrooms as needed. E. Transporting children in our school vans. F. Coordinating and facilitating our summer recreation program.

San Diego Youth Services - Youth and Family support Counselor: Provide trauma informed and culturally responsive intensive in-home support services to foster youth placed in Intensive Services Foster Care Certified Resource Family Homes.  Assist foster youth and resource parents by providing intensive counseling, psycho-education, rehabilitation and independent living skills to foster youth to establish normalcy and promote healing. 

Mobile Loaves & Fishes - Neighbor Care Intern: The Neighbor Care team provides direct care and support for our neighbors who have experienced chronic homelessness. This person will provide a wide variety of tasks within our team including helping to staff our Living Room, (an area for our neighbors to hang out), accompanying neighbors to doctor's appointments, checking on neighbors, helping the move in team get homes ready or helping with neighbor events.

Hope Cooperative DBA TLCS, Inc. - Wellness Center Marconi community coordinator: The JV works with community members to build relationships and establish rapport. Once that relationship is established and trust is built the JV can begin to address issues like food insecurity, housing insecurity, connection to mental and physical health services, employment, and other benefits. The JV will facilitate groups to bring members together to establish connection and community.

UCP Greater Cleveland - Recreation, Wellness and Community Integration Facilitator: Partners with, supports and empowers people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to lead a life of their choosing in all aspects of community life through the provision of person-centered services. Leads safe, effective and enjoyable activities for program participants. Assists them in engaging in fitness programs such as range of motion exercises, swimming, walking, stretching, strengthening, the use of adapted equipment, and healthy nutrition. Assists participants at accessing opportunities in the community for personal and vocational development and growth.

Youth Challenge - Program Coordinator: Youth Challenge brings together young people with physical disabilities and teen volunteers who inspire each other through adapted sports, recreation and social growth activities. The primary responsibility of the Youth Challenge Program Coordinator will be to assist the Director of Program and Volunteer Services, Program Manager, and other Program Staff in providing safe, organized, fun adaptive sports and recreational activities. They will also be responsible for transporting participants to and from programs using a 14-passenger lift-equipped YC van, as well as attending to the personal needs of participants. They will be expected to collaborate with the Program Staff preparing for, assessing, and implementing adapted recreational programs.

STRIVE - Special Projects Coordinator: The Special Projects Coordinator handles a combination of tasks including direct service and planning, implementing, overseeing, and evaluating, classes, events, and activities. This position works directly with our participants (individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities). 

St. Joseph's Center - Program Assistant: A Program Assistant (PA) provides the assistance and support an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities needs to successfully manage throughout the day. At St. Joseph's Center, Program Assistants take a leadership role in planning the activities of the day program utilized by adults with intellectual disabilities who don't meet the requirements for competitive work. In the morning, they are instrumental in preparing the needed supplies for the day's activities. The Program Assistants arrive at 8 am. Clients begin to arrive between 8:30 am and 9:30 am. Clients may reside at home with families or at a residential program sponsored by St. Joseph's Center. Many of those who reside at St. Joseph's Center depend on others for their daily care and quality of life. Once the clients arrive at Day Program, Program Assistants work with Direct Support Professionals to achieve the day's plans which might include an interest group, community engagement, therapy schedule, personal hygiene and work toward personal goals of skills, interests and strengths. The day concludes as transportation to home begins around 2:30 pm and ends at approximately 3:30. Day Program closes at 4pm. 

L'Arche Greater Washington DC - Assistant Intern: "Making know the gifts of people with intellectual disabilities through mutually transforming relationships" Whether at home sharing dinner with guests or supporting a person in their doctor's appointments, volunteer assistants are advocates, care-givers, friends, community builders, musicians, poets, supporters, co-chefs, and so much more. Each moment presents a new opportunities for celebration and forgiveness, as we are led by adults with disabilities to help create a more human society.  Assistant Interns take part in the home life and services for 2-4 adults with intellectual disabilities, alongside a team of other assistants and leaders, the assistant intern provides the direct care necessary for each persons routine, learning and following a number of health care and behavior health practices, while also deepening their friendship of each person they support. Assistant interns are a part of our vibrant community life that includes movies and dinners out, Taize services, ToastMaster's International meeting, and the possibility for vacation's together! 

The Loyola School - Assistant Teacher: The person who is hired for this position will assist the teacher in the classroom. Qualifications  must have experience working with young children,  must meet the state’s requirements for day care staff member. Preferred but not required to have the MSDE 90 hour preschool qualifications (Child Development & Curriculum).  must complete the required FBI and State background checks. They must be responsible, self-motivated and able to supervise and motivate students. A kind demeanor and strong human relation skills with both children and adults are essential requirements. Friends of the Rafael Hernández School, Inc. - Student Support Specialist: The JVC Community School Fellow will be a vital member of the Friends of the Hernández and Rafael Hernández Dual Language School team as we strive to serve the many needs of our 400+ students and their families. The JVC will work from 9 to 6pm, Monday through Friday, during the formal school day and during the After School Program, with an hour for lunch.  Students at the Hernández range in age from four to fourteen years old. They come from across the city, though most are from the Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, Dorchester neighborhoods. A majority of students at the school enter as English language learners, but in the dual language model, all students are language learners, learning to speak, read and write in two languages.  The JVC will serve a number of different support roles depending on their past experience and future goals. This work will largely be focused on supporting the activities of the Hernández as a Community HUB School, providing non-academic support to students and their families, including in our Donation Center, food distribution program, and Adult Education Center, and After School program.  

Dolores Mission School - School Support Provider: Dolores Mission School seeks a candidate to provide administrative and instructional support as well as yard supervision and cafeteria supervision for TK-8 grade lunch and recess.  The successful candidate must be someone who : is a faithful Catholic and a man or women for and with others who embodies the values of Jesuit education  and Ignatian spirituality (and/or is willing to learn), is prepared and willing to serve in any supportive capacity and understands that excellence requires commitment, collaboration, communication, and flexibility. 

Nativity Jesuit Academy - Academic Aide: •    Work directly with the Academic Interventionist to support student growth through Response to Intervention (RtI) small groups and one on one interventions. •    Utilize assessment data with Academic Interventionist and teacher guidance to plan for and implement small group and individual interventions. •    Collaborate with the Academic Interventionist and teachers to ensure students’ access to and understanding of grade level standards.   •    Full time academic aides are required to be present each school day from 8am-4pm (part time hours to be determined by aide and Academic Interventionist).  •    Responsible for other school duties as discussed with supervisor.  •    Required to participate in all professional development and spiritual formation sessions, including but not limited to August Orientation, a fall retreat, Sustaining the Mission, two full days of PD during the school year, and two days in June after classes end. •    Required to participate in various school events, including Back to School Night, Open House, Retreat, Parent-Teacher Conferences, Scholarship Dinner, Posada, Professional Development Days, and Graduation. 

Martha O'Bryan Center - K-8 Youth Education Specialist: The Martha O’Bryan Center (MOBC) youth development program for elementary and middle school students is designed to support low-income students in traditionally low-performing schools throughout East Nashville. Responsibilities include supporting the Site Coordinator in curriculum development, preparation for guided reading lessons and planning for afterschool activities such as tutoring, homework help, enrichment, and service-learning projects; review and reflection on anecdotal observations of students’ key experiences and design academic interventions to address individual student needs; assist Site Coordinator in entering pertinent data in tracking system; receive professional development; attend staff and partner meetings; conduct academic assessments 2-3 times per year; prepare parent activities designed to engage parents more actively in their child's education; assist K-8 Youth Development with on-going projects.  Throughout the year, the JVC member will learn the inner workings of running a successful academic intervention program and be presented with the opportunity to take ownership and leadership in various roles according to their interests. Specific opportunities for leadership have included technology assistance, media & marketing, community outreach, and social-emotional curriculum design. K-8 Youth Development presents each JVC member with the opportunity to enhance programming with the unique interests, skills and experiences that he/she brings to the department. JVC members who demonstrate strong growth in the first half of their year of service may in the second half of the year be called to serve as Site Lead for their site, providing situational leadership as the point person for the site under the direction of the K-8 staff. 

Advocates for Children of New York - Project Associate: The JV serves on a team with three attorneys and a Senior Education Specialist that make up Project Achieve, AFC’s program that champions students in New York City’s foster care system. The roughly 7,000 students who spend time in foster care each school year—who are disproportionately Black and come from the City’s poorest communities—face enormous educational challenges. Roughly half of students in foster care qualify for special education services; the average student in foster care misses the equivalent of six weeks of school each year; and only 43% of students in foster care in NYC graduated on time last year, compared to 81% of students not in foster care.  Project Achieve helps students in foster care meet these obstacles head on. We partner  with foster care agencies to train staff, parents and foster parents, and students; consult with child welfare professionals to secure vital education supports and services for students; and provide education advocacy directly to families to help children and youth who are struggling in school. We then use our on-the-ground experience to advance reforms that will benefit all students impacted by the City’s child welfare system.  Project Achieve's clients range in age from birth to 21 years old and live in all five boroughs of New York City, plus a handful who might live on Long Island or just north of the City. Our current partner agency, Catholic Guardian Services, serves about 550 children and youth in the Bronx and Harlem.

St. Katharine Drexel Academy - PE Teacher, Extended Care Aide: This position will serve two main functions. One will be the PE teacher for grades TK-8. Typically, PE class is twice a week for about 40-45 minutes. The teacher will be in charge of planning and executing instruction. The second half of this position will be an as an extended care aide in our after school program. That would entail supervising the students after school for play and homework time, under the supervision of the Director of Extended Care. This position would also include supervision of students at recess and lunch. In the summer, this position would function as an office aide, which means assisting the administrative assistant with clerical work. Once a month, the JV would also help plan and execute our retreats for the students, with the assistance of the homeroom teacher.

Women's Resource Center, Inc. - Prevention Educator: The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is seeking a Prevention Educator to provide healthy relationships education to elementary, middle and high school students to understand how power and control may impact their relationships. Students learn about consent, community resources and identifying a caring and trusted adult, if necessary. Additionally the JV may be asked to represent the organization in the community at tabling events both for youth and the larger community.   

Civicorps - Assistant Job Training Supervisor: Our 18-26 year old Corpsmembers are a diverse community of individuals. Our largest group consists of African-American males and is considered low-income, but we serve many young women and men of different backgrounds. Many are young parents, former foster care, English Language Learners, Special Ed, and/or formerly incarcerated. All staff play an active role in supporting our Corpsmembers. The JV should believe in each person’s ability, be compassionate, communicate clearly, and be able to step into leadership roles when necessary.  Assists in directing a crew of 6 to 10 Corpsmembers in conservation and landscaping projects.  Assists in monitoring all aspects of Corpsmembers' development within the Civicorps Corpsmember Program.  May act as a substitute for a Job Training Supervisor or promote to Supervisor and be assigned a specific crew if appropriate.

Cristo Rey Boston - Classroom Aide/Corporate Work Study Aide: The school serves students are at or below the poverty line.  Most student come from neighborhoods in Boston.   The JV could serve in two capacities.  On the academic side they will serve as a classroom aide and tutor.  Most students enter the school at least two grade levels behind in with their math and English skills.  The JV will help get them up to grade level.  On the Corporate work study side, the JV could as a business manager who follows a case load of students.  The roles involves visiting the corporate work study sites and check ins with students.  

Donnelly College - Academic Support Specialist: The Academic Support Specialist will be involved with many facets of Student Support Services including the tutoring center and career services. Job duties encompass tutoring support, promotion of academic support opportunities available on campus, conducting workshops, assisting with career event planning, and coordinating training for student tutors. The JV who fills this position will also be a member of the Service Learning Committee. The Academic Support Specialist will be working with a student population of primarily first generation students of an extremely diverse ethnic, economic, and educational status. Donnelly provides access to higher education with an open enrollment policy and the Academic Support Specialist would be supporting young people and working adults. 

Homeboy Industries - Educational Services Associate (ESA): The Educational Services Associate (ESA) supports the department staff with high volume student, trainee, and community client needs. The ESA coordinates Academic Education volunteers, works one-on-one with students assisting with tutoring and overall class engagement support, and helps everyday administrative tasks in the Life Skills and Academic Education departments. Finally, the ESA is given the opportunity to complete a project based on their interest for the Academic Education department. Most recently, the ESA has been lead organizer of our yearly education celebration. 

Verbum Dei Jesuit High School - Corporate Work Study Program Assistant: The Program Coordinator of CWSP (Corporate Work-Study Program) is responsible for supporting the operations of the Corporate Work Study Program and provide high levels of customer service to all, including students, parents, Corporate Partners, and prospects. The coordinator role includes but is not limited to hands on job coaching for students, minor remote instruction, database maintenance, and minor event planning. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES – Program Coordinator: •    Coach and supervise students in the Remote Work branch of our program •    Assist with management of a small portfolio of corporate partnerships •    Teach a section of our professionalism course (curriculum provided) •    Update and maintain grades appropriate to students taught  •    Support the planning and coordinating of special events •    Create materials for the promotion of CWSP on social media and other digital outlets •    Be an integral part of the CWSP team •    Maintain a high level of intentional customer service to our corporate partners, parents, and students •    Collect and format student evaluations and timecards •    Assist with the management of student files and timecards •    Transport students to and from work (as needed)

Cheverus High School - Service Coordinator: The Service Coordinator at Cheverus High School serves as a member of the Campus Ministry Team and is responsible for all service opportunities for our students. This person will not only make service opportunities available to our students so they may live out their calling to be Women and Men for Others, she/he will also work shoulder-to-shoulder with students at these sites as a model of Ignatian service. Responsibilities include:   - Coordinating, promoting and participating in service immersion programs in Portland, Boston, South Dakota, the U.S. Mexican border  - Maintaining and promoting partnerships with local service organizations such as the Preble Street Food Pantry, the Wayside Food Bank, the Root Cellar, Catholic Charities, as well as local schools and assisted living facilities   - Developing and moderating a weekly service program for sophomores to fulfill their service requirement  - Facilitating and attending the Ignatian Family Teach-in in Washington D.C.   - Placement and supervision of seniors on Arrupe Service Projects (April and May)  At times this team member may be called upon to support other Campus Ministry programs such as liturgies and retreats.

New HOPE Charter School - Teacher Assistant: The Para-professional position support students in classrooms:  -Lead up to 3, weekly intervention or enrichment sessions -Work collaboratively with staff to support students in all areas of their school experience -Provide supervision at assigned times -Collaborate with instructional teams to analyze student learning, differentiate instruction, and build a positive school culture. 

Nativity Prep  - Graduate Support Team: The position of Graduate Support Team Member (JVC) at Nativity Prep Academy includes the following: assist with weekly high school workshops for graduates of the middle school program prepare materials and conduct research for Graduate Support Program (GSP) supervision of students during non-instruction times, supervision of students during enrichment block, lunch, and snack times support School Ministry Program by setting up and preparing materials for Mass collaboration with colleagues on the Graduate Support Team. 

ICA Cristo Rey - Academic Assistant: This position has a variety of job opportunities depending on volunteer interest and school need. Responsibilities include substitute teaching, study hall supervision and student mentoring, team-teaching with a faculty mentor, campus ministry, college counseling assistance, and more.

Civicorps - Support Services Associate: Our 18-26 year old Corpsmembers are a diverse community of individuals. Our largest group consists of African-American males, and is considered low-income, but we serve many young women and men of different backgrounds. Many are young parents, former foster care, English Language Learners, Special Ed, and/or formerly incarcerated.  All staff play an active role in supporting our Corpsmembers.  The JV should believe in each person’s ability, be compassionate, communicate clearly, and be able to step into leadership roles when necessary.  Under the direction and supervision of the Lead Counselor, the Support Services Assistant works directly with Corpsmember Program staff to develop and implement a system of support and inspiration for Corpsmembers (18-26 year old young adult participants). The position will involve direct service to Corpsmembers in the areas of workshop and training support, career and college support, food program support, administrative support, and coordination of our Outdoor Adventure Program.   

West Side Catholic Center - Program Assistant: WSCC offers a variety of programs including meals, clothing, shelter, advocacy, and job assistance for anyone that comes in need of service. The Jesuit Volunteer will work specifically with two programs: Expressive Arts and Workforce Development. Our Expressive Arts program is designed to address the consequences of trauma in the individual and facilitate healing through a variety of arts and culture. Our Workforce Development program offers individualized employment services while working with existing community organizations to address other critical needs that impact employment, and help clients move toward self-sufficiency.  The Jesuit Volunteer's time will be split between planning group activities in the Art program (drumming, yoga, creative writing, gardening, etc.) and working one on one with clients for job coaching (resume building, job hunting, proper attire, etc.) The Jesuit Volunteer will be fully immersed in the culture of WSCC and be able to directly interact with clients and other volunteers on a daily basis.

Project Return - Program Services Coordinator: Project Return is solely dedicated to the successful new beginnings of people who are returning to our community after prison. Our mission is to provide services and connect people with the resources needed to return successfully to work and the community after incarceration. Our vision is a full and free life after incarceration. Employment is at the core of our work, as it is the best predictor of a successful future for those we serve. We have a weekly 3-day job readiness curriculum that imparts soft skills needed to be successful in the workplace and incorporates financial literacy, relapse prevention, and digital literacy. Prior to the start of these classes, a participant must complete an orientation, during which we explain in detail how our program works and assess critical needs of the participant and how we may assist. Program Services Coordinators complete orientations and enter them in our database. This requires administrative and relationship building skills. After class completion, participants engage in individualized resume development with a Program Services Coordinator, including  wraparound supportive services that address their immediate, critical needs such as: providing referrals for medical, dental, and vision exams, mental health and substance abuse support; purchasing birth certificates and photo IDs; providing food, clothing, and bus passes; and housing assistance. Once someone is employed, PSCs verify and enter those jobs in our database and provide participants with clothes, shoes, and tools as well as encourage and celebrate them! 

Reconcile New Orleans  - Program Assistant: As a JV at Reconcile New Orleans, the individual will work directly with program participants in our workforce development training program. Under the direct supervision of the Chief Program Officer with support from the Program team members including Outreach & Recruitment Specialist, Case Managers, Facilitators, Employment & Education Specialist, and Alumni Engagement Specialist.  The Programs Assistant will play an essential role in supporting program participants' recruitment, retention, and training.

Native American Health Center-SBHC Dept - Program Coordinator: The Program Coordinator Position will work out of our United for Success School-Based Health Center Site which is a middle and high school site primarily serving adolescents ages 11-18. The Program Coordinator will work with a multi-disciplinary team of medical, dental, behavioral health and educators to increase access to care to youth and their families. The main responsibilities of this position include patient registration, eligibility and coordination of onsite clinical schedules. There is also opportunities to provide youth programming support and gain experience in first-aid care in this role. All training and duties will be overseen by onsite supervisor. 

Native American Health Center - Clinical Care Assistant: This Jesuit Volunteer Clinical Care Assistant (JV CCA) will collaborate with medical staff and the Quality Team to improve health outcomes of members through in-reach, and panel management efforts. The main responsibilities of this position include completing required grant activities, assisting members in accessing all levels of care, assisting medical care providers in chronic disease management, and participating in continuous quality improvement. All duties are to be performed under the guidance of the Medical Director, and in accordance with departmental protocols.

Native American Health Center - Registered Nurse: The Registered Nurse (RN) will ensure the provision of high quality, well-coordinated medical services to NAHC members. The RN provides direct nursing care, triage (in person and over the phone), provider support, and clinical oversight and support to the Medical Assistants. The RN will also coordinate and manage member care in partnership with members, families and caregivers.

Home Base - Outreach Coordinator: The JV serves many functions at Home Base.  They have oversight of a program that we call the Adventure Series.  This program provides opportunities for Veteran and Family members to connect and network with each other at a specific free event and then learn about the services our program provides.  The JV also gives information about Home Base at outreach events, completes special projects, and administrative duties as assigned. 

Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly - Volunteer Program Assistant: JVs will visit 30 elders on a regular basis. The goal is to develop a friendly relationship and work to alleviate loneliness. In addition, JVs will be in charge of a project, such as birthday calling, home birthday bags, food bags, art team, movie club, creative cafe, etc. JVs will also participate in holiday parties and celebrations of life activities, staff meetings, monthly VPA meetings and quarterly training sessions.

Neighborhood Family Practice  - Jesuit Volunteer Midwifery Program Assistant : Jesuit Volunteer Midwifery Program Assistant (JVMPA) will work closely with the Healthcare Coordinator to provide high quality care coordination for at-risk pregnant and postpartum women. It is anticipated that the JVMPA will spend the majority of the time working with the refugee and newcomer population who are receiving services from the NFP Midwives.

Neighborhood Family Practice  - Refugee Health Services Patient Advocate: Jesuit Volunteer Midwifery Program Assistant (JVMPA) will work closely with the Healthcare Coordinator to provide high quality care coordination for at-risk pregnant and postpartum women. It is anticipated that the JVMPA will spend the majority of the time working with the refugee and newcomer population who are receiving services from the NFP Midwives. 

KC CARE Health Center - Behavioral Health Support: Position entails providing behavioral health support to our patients.  Rooming patients, taking vitals and gathering history data.

Aurora Medical Group, Inc. on behalf of its Aurora Walker's Point Community Clinic - Clinic Assistant: 1.  Patient Assistance Program (PAP) Medication Assistant: The JV will assist in managing prescription medications for approximately 1500 patients.  The commercial value of the medications our clinic receives is greater than 1 million dollars each year. It is the job of the JV to connect uninsured patients with programs which provide donated medications to those who would otherwise have no affordable means of obtaining their prescriptions. The JV will assist our Community Health worker in seeing this process through to the end for every patient applying for one of these programs: This involves meeting with patients to explain the programs, collecting and organizing necessary documents, filling out applications, corresponding with pharmaceutical companies, tracking refills, and processing medications once they arrive at the clinic. The JV will call each patient when their med is ready to be picked up and will translate the Rx Instructions before the medication is dispensed.        2.  Special Projects determined by Volunteer interests. Opportunities for shadowing a variety of clinicians, medical assistants and phlebotomist as well as learn about and participate in mobile health. 

BronxWorks - Community Health Programs Specialist: Under the supervision of the Program Director of Community Health Programs, the Program Specialist will support the implementation and evaluation of place-based strategies to improve the health outcomes of residents of the South Bronx who suffer disproportionately high rates of chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and asthma.  These strategies include facilitating youth action programming, operating a farmers market, and assisting with planning special events to promote health. The volunteer will work directly with the community, youth, older adults, and the general population of the South Bronx, a predominately Latino and African American community.

Nationalities Service Center - Refugee Health Clinic Liaison: The Refugee Health Clinic Liaison position at Nationalities Service Center serves as a vital link between newly-arrived refugees and NSC’s refugee clinic partners through the Philadelphia Refugee Health Collaborative. As such, the Refugee Health Clinic Liaison is in frequent contact with providers and other staff at clinic partners to schedule initial and follow-up appointments for newly-arrived refugees. The Liaison assists with coordinating follow-up care and referrals as needed. The Liaison is also responsible for updating appointment outcomes in a timely manner, per funder guidelines. For incoming refugees and immigrants, navigating the complex American healthcare and insurance systems with limited English proficiency is a difficult task. Furthermore, many refugees and immigrants arrive with limited health literacy and minimal experience in accessing preventive health care. The Clinic Liaison JV will serve as an integral part of NSC’s Health Team, which helps NSC’s vulnerable immigrant clients access healthcare and health-related supports.

Native American Health Center - Clinical Care Assistant (CCA): The Jesuit Volunteer Clinical Care Assistant (JV CCA) will collaborate with medical staff and data teams to improve members’ health outcomes through in-reach, panel management and providing administrative support to the Medical team. The main responsibilities of this position include completing in reach, managing chronic diagnoses alongside medical care providers, and participating in continuous quality improvement.  The Native American Health Center is an accredited institution and adheres to the standards of excellence set forth by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and the Commission of Dental Accreditation (CODA).  All duties are to be performed under the guidance of the Lead Registered Nurse and in accordance with departmental protocols. 

United Neighborhood Centers - Community Health and Aging Program Assistant: The Community Health and Aging Assistant is part of an interdisciplinary team that aims to break down barriers related to the social determinants of health. The CH&A Assistant provides individualized healthcare navigation and advocacy with the goal of empowering consumers to take a more active role in their own health and reduce barriers to accessing adequate and affordable healthcare. The CH&A Assistant connects consumers to resources, provides emotional support, and engages in active listening to understand how a client's environment can significantly impact their health outcomes. Additional tasks commonly include completing intake assessments, conducting client outreach, assisting the Department Director with data entry and analysis, and leading health educational programming in the community. The Community Health and Aging Assistant will also assist in developing marketing materials for our senior center programs and will focus on program promotion and expansion. Additionally, the person in this position will occasionally engage with other UNC programs such as emergency services, holiday assistance programs, and food distribution. This serves as an opportunity to participate in grass-roots type services at this 100 year old agency.

Joseph's House - Community Care Assistant: The volunteers serve at the heart of Joseph’s House’s mission. Relationship-building is at the core of our work and volunteers are frequently the first to develop a trusting relationship with our residents who are often fearful and full of doubt when they first arrive at Joseph’s House. The volunteers have the time to provide the gentle, consistent presence that communicates respectful caring and concern that is often absent from medical and under-staffed care facilities. Volunteers are encouraged to slow their pace in order to develop their awareness of the residents’ needs, and to meet those human needs in an unhurried way. Joseph's House serves the poorest of the sickest and most vulnerable individuals living in all Wards and neighborhoods of Washington, DC, with the vast majority of the residents coming from the city’s poorest Wards (5, 7, and 8). All have extremely low income, if any income at all. Most of the men and women we serve have spent the majority of their lives in poverty, living on the street, in unsafe conditions, or incarcerated, have a history of substance abuse and mental illness, and lack education and job skills. The poor in DC bear a disproportionate burden of HIV and cancer incidence and mortality, and have far fewer resources and support to cope with the immense challenges these illnesses present. The median age of those who die at Joseph’s House is just 51 (40 for women), compared with the life expectancy of 78 in DC.

Catholic Charities of Central Texas - Financial Stability Case Worker: Financial Stability helps families to avoid homelessness and achieve financial security through case management, education and emergency financial assistance. The case worker will provide case management and referral services to individuals and families in order to promote self-sufficiency including: - Conduct screening and assessment of needs for individuals seeking financial assistance to determine eligibility, make pledges, request payment, and provide referrals for additional community services. - Provide comprehensive case management services. - Complete all necessary documentation to ensure compliance with funding requirements, license requirements, best practice standards, and agency quality assurance standards. - Develop and maintain a strong knowledge base of Catholic Charities programming and community resources.

Casa Marianella - Case Specialist 1: As part of the Shelter team, the Case Specialist will work closely with the immigrant and asylum-seeking residents who live at the Abri Lumiere Family Shelter. She or he will help residents get settled in the shelter, assess needs, assist residents as they work toward their goals for housing and personal stability and staff the shelter during regularly scheduled shifts. Case Specialists are available to address the needs of all residents while on shift and assist with case management to help specific residents access services and meet their goals. She or he will work closely with all shelter staff in a collaborative, supportive environment and learn all facets of the agency. Responsibilities include: provide service referrals and support; accompany shelter residents to medical, legal and other appointments; interact with volunteers and donors, screen and intake new residents, and manage one or more tasks (ie. volunteer mobilization, donation acquisition and distribution, homework help, medical and mental health support, housing research and accompaniment, etc.). Abri Lumiere is a 24/7 residential facility for two-parent, multi-generational and single dad families from all over the world, many of whom come directly from immigration detention. Staff are present on-site daily with the latest shift ending at 9pm. Evening/weekend hours are not excessive, and Volunteers will be able to participate fully in the shared living community and have an active social life. A Bachelor’s degree, proficiency in Spanish and experience working or volunteering with immigrants in the U.S. or overseas are required.

Casa Marianella - Case Specialist 2: As part of the Shelter team, the Case Specialist will work closely with the immigrant and asylum-seeking residents who live at the Casa Marianella Adult Shelter. She or he will help residents get settled in the shelter, assess needs, assist residents as they work toward their goals for housing and personal stability and staff the shelter during regularly scheduled shifts. Case Specialists are available to address the needs of all residents while on shift and assist with case management to help specific residents access services and meet their goals. She or he will work closely with all shelter staff in a collaborative, supportive environment and learn all facets of the agency. Responsibilities include: provide service referrals and support; accompany shelter residents to medical, legal and other appointments; and manage one or more regular tasks, which are divided amongst staff (volunteer coordination, newsletter production, donor acknowledgement, etc.). The Casa Adult Shelter is a 24/7 residential facility for homeless adult male and female immigrants from all over the world, many of whom come to Casa directly from immigration detention. Evening/weekend hours are not excessive, and Volunteers will be able to participate fully in the shared living community and have an active social life. Minimum Qualifications: BA, proficiency in Spanish, French or Portuguese. Pre-COVID, the majority of our staff and Volunteers worked/volunteered with immigrants in the U.S. or overseas. We understand that overseas experience has not been realistic or even possible for the past three years.

St. Vincent de Paul Baltimore - Case Manager: The volunteer would work with people who are affected by homelessness. The goal is to screen people for eligibility for the coordinated access system, which connects vulnerable people to housing resources. After screening, the volunteer would complete the housing system and enter it into the system. Volunteers would also work with people on obtaining primary identifying documents, like IDs and birth certificates, and help assist with obtaining mainstream benefits, like food stamps.  The program works with people who are affected by homelessness, both single individuals and families. Subpopulations include veterans, members of the LGBTQ community, and people of color.

FriendshipWorks - Friendly Visiting Coordinator: Position will support efforts in our Friendly Visiting program by recruiting, training, and matching older adults and volunteers for friendship and companionship. Position will also support outreach and organizational partnership efforts.  This position represents an expansion of our Friendly Visiting work, with the hope we can make it permanent down the road.

Pope Francis Center - Center Coordinator: The population served by the Pope Francis Center is the homeless population in Detroit, which faces many challenges and needs. The service associate is a key member of the Center's staff, responsible for coordinating meals and services for the guests and helping to train and equip volunteers. The service associate works closely with the program manager, the kitchen manager, the operations manager, and the case managers to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of the Center's programs and services.  Position Name & Description Position Name: Service Associate   Essential Duties: Welcoming and assisting the guests, and providing them with information to the Center's services Managing the inventory and distribution of hygiene items, clothing, and other supplies for the guests Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the Center's facilities, equipment, and vehicles Participating in the orientation and training of new volunteers, and providing them with feedback and support Assisting in preparing meals for the guests, following the guidelines and recipes provided by the kitchen manager Supervising and assisting the volunteers in serving meals, cleaning the dining area, and washing dishes Upholding the Center's mission, vision, and values, and treating each guest with respect and dignity  Additional Program Duties/Responsibilities Assist with setup in the morning of coffee, food, laundry or shower stations and general setup of the center. Assist volunteers with laundry, front office, showers, or service line as necessary for service. Maintenance and Cleanup of general areas as required. Help staff to maintain a calm, pleasant atmosphere in the Center. Sort mail.

The Center in Hollywood - FIH Program Assistant: JV would assist with the FIH (Flourishing in Housing) Program. Flourishing in Housing supports housing retention and ends isolation by providing an engaging and supportive community for people who have moved into permanent homes. Space is created online and in-person for participants to share their struggles and successes in housing. Ambassadors who have lived experience give back to the community with their time, talents, and workforce development skills. This two-person team provides housing retention support to over 75 community members.

Oasis Center - Street Outreach Jesuit Volunteer: The Street Outreach JV position will serve alongside our Street Outreach Team. In this position the JV will have the opportunity to work with individuals between the ages 13-24 who are experiencing homelessness or are at-risk of experiencing homelessness. The JV will have the opportunity to work within our Outreach Drop-In Center providing; triage services, safety planning, and basic needs services, as well as completing program intake paperwork with individuals who are experiencing housing instability. The JV will also have the opportunity to conduct Street Canvassing with our Street Outreach Staff, going out into the community to bring basic needs supplies and safety planning services to youth and young adults who may not be able to travel to our drop-in center. 

Depaul USA New Orleans - Housing Care & Wellness Navigator: Homeless and housing services is the focus of the work with Depaul USA. The JVC will hold the role of Housing Care Navigator, meaning they will be responsible for building a relationship with the people who are entering into our program for housing and help them locate and secure appropriate housing. The job will entail being an advocate, driving clients, and helping them find a place to live where they can make a positive change or feel hope. The population we serve are chronically homeless folks who have mental health diagnoses and sometimes physical disabilities. We meet people at the point of homelessness (also where they are at in their mental and emotional state) and help them into an apartment where they can begin their transition out of homelessness. We encourage a focus on wellness for the clients, staff, and volunteers in order to increase the likelihood of happiness and successful outcomes. The JV will also be responsible for managing the wellness calendar and coordinating with wellness teachers and facilitators to schedule and plan activities and parties. We are a trauma informed organization and will incorporate trauma informed training for the JV in their role with DPUSA. 

Interfaith Housing Development Corporation - Affordable Housing Developer: IHDC primarily serves formerly homeless and special needs populations, including elderly individuals and people living with HIV/AIDs. The organization currently operates 15 affordable/supportive rental apartments around the Chicago metro. These units serve about 1,200 low-income persons. A potential JV’s main job responsibilities will focus on developing new projects to expand services and access to quality, affordable housing while learning about the systems and institutions involved in creating units for low-income individuals. A JV will be given opportunities to engage with local governments, state agencies, advocates, and current tenants.

St. James Catholic Church Food Pantry - Volunteer Coordinator: The Volunteer Coordinator’s main role will be to recruit, train and supervise volunteers, and maintain relationships with individual volunteers and volunteer groups. Work hours are Monday through Thursday: 8:00am to 4:00pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours. Weekend hours are every Second Saturday of the month 8 am to noon and third Sunday of the month 10:30 am to 2 pm.   The Volunteer Coordinator works besides volunteers to complete the daily functions of the food pantry by leading from within the team.  The Saint James Catholic Church Food Pantry provides food to low-income families, seniors and the homeless. The pantry serves an average of 1,200 families a month and it is one of the largest food pantries in Chicago. 

Preble Street - Food Programs Staff: The Jesuit Volunteer will be responsible for assisting the Management Team and participating in food distribution, mobile outreach, and meal shifts in shelter kitchens; managing volunteers; food preparation and basic cooking; and food service and cleanup. The Volunteer will participate and assist in other areas of Food Programs as requested or assigned.  This position requires working in a busy commercial kitchen, emergency shelter kitchen, warehouse, and occasionally office spaces. Duties may regularly include navigating loading docks and commercial storage and distribution facilities. Populations served represent people of all genders, races, and ethnicities who are economically disadvantaged.

Friendship Park at Sacramento Loaves & Fishes - Special Event Coordinator: Friendship Park is a day center at Sacramento Loaves & Fishes serving men,women experiencing homelessness. Each day hundreds of individuals visit Friendship Park for basic survival services and for respite from there difficult lives on the streets. Key services provided include healthy meals, hot showers, and a safe welcoming place to rest. the special events coordinator will provide direct service to the guests of Loaves & Fishes by planning and executing activities and events that benefit the overall culture of Friendship Park.

Friends of the Poor - Services Coordinator: Service Activities      Direct service at FOTP program locations, including assisting participants with registration, receiving services, and providing referrals based on additional need.     Assist and train volunteers.     Participate in FOTP seasonal programming execution, such as Thanksgiving Dinner and Family to Family distributions.      Open or close pantry sites depending on schedule and availability of volunteers.     Assist and advocate for families who are experiencing crises.     Represent FOTP within the community and on various committees to encourage collaborative efforts in our service areas.     Assists with Clothesline for Men program, ensuring clothing packages are received by correct participant.     Assists with water utility assistance program, gathering all required documentation from participants so that applications may be processed quickly.     Work with administrative team to share direct service experiences so that donation and volunteer requests can be updated in real time based on current community needs. 

The Father McKenna Center, Inc. - Food Pantry Coordinator: The Food Pantry Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the pantry during its hours of operation. This includes the set up and breakdown of our pantry, greeting and checking in our guests, and working with volunteers on tasks. Our Food Pantry serves DC households with low incomes. Many of our patrons are seniors who are experiencing chronic food insecurity.   The Food Pantry Coordinator will also provide support our team during our Day Program for Men Experiencing Homelessness, welcoming guests and helping them access resources within our Program.   This position focused on direct service of our clientele and will also provide invaluable experience to build a resume for future work. 

Taller de José - Compañerx/Advocate: Taller de José accompanies individuals, serving as a bridge to connect them to the health, legal, and social services needed to achieve their goals. As a member of the CSJ Mission Network, we create more connected communities. Many in our community find it difficult to access services due to fear, language barriers, immigration status, poverty, and/or lack of knowledge of available resources and how to navigate social systems in the United States. Taller de José fulfills an essential need in our community by bridging the gap between social service providers and individuals, making services more accessible to marginalized communities. The Compañerx is trained to listen to clients to assess the services needed and accompany them in the process of finding those resources. We offer referrals to other services, off-site accompaniment, emotional support, and advocacy.  While Taller de José’s doors are open to serve anyone, 32% of our clients live in the Little Village neighborhood, which has the third-highest hardship index rating in the city of Chicago. The majority of our clients are immigrants, and many of our clients do not have legal status in the United States. 9% of clients are age 20-29, 19% are 30-39, 26% are 40-49, 22% are 50-59, and 19% are 60 or older. 72% of clients are women. While we do not request income information from clients, we estimate that approximately 75% are low-income.

Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland, Migration and Refugee Services (MRS) - Refugee Case Manager: Manage a challenging and vulnerable caseload of refugees, arriving from refugee camp(s). Provide services to refugees under the guidelines of the Department of State Cooperative Agreement, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops/Migration and Refugee Services, and Office of Refugee Resettlement. Ensure refugees receive services in a manner consistent with the goals of self-sufficiency and independence. Offer refugees an opportunity to gain a new life in the USA.

Catholic Charities Milwaukee - Legal Assistant: Our Jesuit Volunteers traditionally work to prepare affidavits and draft forms for asylum, and those seeking protection as domestic violence and crime victims.  Our JVC this year is doing more work with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals applicants.  Too,  Catholic Charities refugee program merged with our immigration program at the beginning of 2019. Childhood Arrival applicants and more work with our refugee clients.  He has been working on screening refugees for citizenship and enrolling them in our citizenship classes.

Nationalities Service Center - Resettlement Case Aide: The Refugee Resettlement Case Aide plays an integral role in Nationalities Service Center's innovative, fast-paced and high quality programming designed to empower refugees and immigrants towards a self-sustaining and dignified future. The JV will serve refugees arriving through NSC's Refugee Resettlement program with support for core services provided by case managers, financial literacy support and administrative support pre-arrival and coordination with student interns. The JV will support provision of core services to clients through activities such as accompanying clients to apply for benefits and other services, conducting client home visits, and assisting with home set ups, and will also coordinate with student interns to complete similar tasks. The JV will also directly assist refugee clients with building financial literacy through development of a standardized financial literacy orientation session and helping clients to navigate financial systems in the US. Pre-arrival administrative support includes inputting client profiles in NSC’s database, creating client files and preparing necessary benefits application paperwork. 

HIAS Pennsylvania - Refugee/Asylee Case Aide: JVC Case Aide will provide support to HIAS PA's Immigrant Services programs including Housing, Benefits, Employment, and Technology.  S/he will provide initial assessment, information, accompaniments, and case management services to clients.  S/he will also organize and facilitate workshops on various topics such as employment, housing, financial literacy, healthcare, or taxes.  Furthermore, s/he will collaborate with service providers, community organizations, and government agencies to identify service gaps and ensure maximum impact with limited resources. 

Public Justice Center - Housing Paralegal: The JVC will serve as a paralegal in the Human Right to Housing Project, primarily conducting intakes, case management, and client support. The JVC will additionally support the project with research, communications, and policy advocacy.

Family Violence Law Center - Crisis & Legal Support Advocate: The Crisis & Legal Support Advocate provides direct assistance to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and FVLC’s clients are primarily low-income women of color.  The Crisis & Legal Support Advocate supports delivery of crisis and legal support services, and main duties include: (1) provide crisis intervention, support and resources to survivors via telephone and in-person; (2) conduct legal screenings, including completing legal intakes and answering questions regarding Domestic Violence Prevention Act restraining orders; (3) assist with the scheduling, recruitment, hiring, and training of volunteers; and (4) meet with Family Violence Intervention Unit Manager and Crisis Services Manager to update progress, address any issues or concerns, and discuss ways FVLC can support the Advocate’s needs and goals.

United Community Housing Coalition - Legal Assistant: UCHC provides housing counseling services to low income Detroit households to prevent evictions and foreclosures (tax, land contract and mortgage).  Our mission is to improve housing conditions for low income Detroiters and prevent homelessness.  The population we served is low income Detroit households facing the loss of their rental or homeowner housing.  We provide attorneys (supported by legal assistants) in court to fight evictions, obtain repair orders and ensure the tenant only pays what they are legally obligated to pay. For tenants we also provide financial support and relocation assistance when necessary and we engage in tenant organizing work in multi-family or multi-unit sites.  Attorneys and housing counselors also work with low income homeowners to avoid the loss of their homes.  Tax foreclosure work is mostly in Detroit, but foreclosures are county-wide.  We also provide 0% interest loans to buy homes tax foreclosed (through a joint program with the City of Detroit) or to buy homes with predatory land contracts.  Purchases done on behalf of the occupant require the occupant to pay us back at a 0% interest rate so that funds can be recycled for others in need.  We also offer a repair program with grants and 0% interest loans.

Homeboy Industries - Legal Associate: The Legal Services Department at Homeboy Industries provides community lawyering services to trainees and community members. Our two staff attorneys represent trainees in expungements, driver’s license reinstatements and a variety of family law related legal issues including child support, divorce, child custody and visitation. The Legal Services Department oversees partnerships with an immigration clinic and other volunteer attorneys. The Legal Services Department averages over 300 consultations a month with trainees on a variety of legal issues. The department’s approach is based on assessment, advocacy and assessment and the department works closely with case managers and other departments to ensure that the trainee’s goals are met.  This position supports the legal department in providing effective services. 

Tennessee Justice Center - Tennessee Justice Center: The JVC Client Advocate, after comprehensive training and orientation, will be responsible for managing a caseload of 20-30 active cases. Typical cases include clients seeking approval for Medicaid (TennCare in TN) who have been wrongfully denied, clients who have been terminated from Medicaid inappropriately and clients who are current Medicaid recipients experiencing difficulty accessing health care services to which they are entitled. Examples of service cases include medically fragile children and adults who require in-home nursing care and are facing proposed cuts to hours by their Medicaid Managed Care Organization. The JVC Client Advocate will communicate directly with clients and their family, TennCare and other agencies if needed, conduct research and liaise with TJC's legal team to identify potential solutions. Examples of solutions the Client Advocate may assist with include filing appeals on a client's behalf, drafting correspondence to TennCare's legal team and preparing for a hearing.

Promise of Justice Initiative - Client and Family Services Coordinator: The JVC member works directly with low-income communities every day. The corps member will spend time on the phone with incarcerated individuals, writing/answering letters, and contacting client family members to coordinate prison visits. The JVC will visit clients in person in prison, as well as driving up family members to go visit their loved ones in prison. In addition to this, the JVC will assist with fundraising efforts in order to fund the work of The Promise of Justice Initiative’s Client and Family Assistance Program. The JVC will also assist in welcoming home released clients and gathering data about their experiences post-release. Depending on the JVC's interests, they can also be involved in community outreach and coalition building.

Catholic Migration Services - Legal Assistant, Naturalization: CMS seeks a JV to serve as a legal assistant for our immigration legal services program. The JV will work with our staff to address our clients' immigration legal needs. The JV will assist with client intakes, case management, legal workshops, and preparation of applications. The JV will participate in staff meetings and discussions regarding issues of common concern related to their caseloads. 

Make the Road New York - Paralegal: This position will function as a paralegal on our team, meaning the Jesuit Volunteer will provide legal assistance and support within our Legal Department and to our clients. Responsibilities include conducting client interviews, client intakes, assisting with legal research and document preparation, drafting legal correspondence and court documents, and supporting attorneys in case management.

Philadelphia VIP - Pro Bono Case Manager: Reporting to a Supervising Attorney, the Pro Bono Case Manager plays a critical role in VIP’s volunteer-based service model.  Within VIP’s Legal Team, the Pro Bono Case Managers have primary responsibility for working up new cases and placing them with volunteer attorneys who provide free legal services to low-income Philadelphians with civil legal issues related to preventing homelessness, preserving income, supporting family stability, and supporting community economic development.  The Pro Bono Case Manager's job duties include recruiting and retaining volunteer attorneys in private practice and guiding and supporting clients and volunteer attorneys throughout the life of the case. 

Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project - Legal Support Assistant: In the Legal Support Assistant position, the Jesuit Volunteer (JV) supports the smooth operation and expands the capacity of ILAP’s direct legal services, with a focus on assisting with cases in ILAP's Forms Assistance Program and Immigrant Children's Project.  They provide paralegal assistance to legal staff including helping prepare clients' immigration applications under staff supervision, helping clients obtain supporting documents needed for their cases, and other tasks. The JV will have daily contact with ILAP clients (in-person or remote), and as a member of ILAP’s legal team the JV will participate in weekly legal meetings where staff discuss individual cases as well as legal and policy issues affecting our clients.   The JV will assist in directing clients to the ILAP services they need and help to coordinate ILAP’s client intake. The JV will provide some administrative support including helping to enter data in our case management database, filing, and other tasks to support the legal department. The JV will work with predominantly immigrant clients who have limited English proficiency. The JV must have a bachelor’s degree, excellent writing skills, be extremely detail oriented, good with people, and flexible. The JV must have a personal and professional commitment to racial justice and equity.  Language skills in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Lingala, or Haitian Creole are highly desirable, as is a lived immigrant experience.

St. Vincent de Paul Church - Outreach Coordinator: The Outreach Coordinator works primarily with men and women wrestling with the challenges of poverty and homelessness. They will work alongside parish staff while providing direct outreach, encounter, and service to people needing financial assistance (eviction prevention, sober-house fees, utilities payments), and alongside parish volunteers in a variety of service ministries. The parish maintains a weekly Food Pantry, a weekly dinner for the hungry, a weekly service that provides household set-ups for people recently housed, tutoring at a local elementary school, a men's free clothing ministry, and more. The JV bears greater and lesser degrees of responsibility for these long-run ministries, and is expected to develop and foster relationships with those they encounter regularly. Excellent communication with staff and parish volunteers and good record-keeping skills will be necessary. While much support is provided and available, ability to work independently and creatively is important and highly valued. The job is physically very active. Work-sites (across parish campus, and some off-site work) and responsibilities are quite varied. 

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School - Ministry & Service Coordinator: The Jesuit Volunteer at CRJ will serve as the Service Coordinator as part of the Department of Mission & Ministry. The Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and organizing service opportunities and hours for all CRJ students, managing our social media page, and other duties as assigned. The Service Coordinator will typically work 8 hours a day Monday through Friday, however, some week nights and weekends will be required. The Service Coordinator will directly report to the Campus Minister.

University of Detroit Mercy - Associate University Minister: The Associate University Minister for Service in the City promotes the University’s Catholic, Jesuit and Mercy mission by working collaboratively to make available to the community opportunities for service, immersion, peace, social justice, spirituality and advocacy. This position provides students with experiences to respond to today’s social problems and become agents of social transformation. The Associate University Minister is a model to students of faith in action and encourages students to know, love and serve God and each other.  This position organizes and facilitates the orientation, reflection and weekly Service in the City opportunities for students who serve with agencies in the Detroit area. He/she also organizes with the University Minister for Service and Social Justice, the students who attend Ignatian Family Teach for Justice in DC and one-two service immersion trips as well as monthly service immersion opportunties on the weekend.

Dolores Mission Church - Immersion Coordinator and Youth Ministry Assistant: The primary purpose of this full-time position is to coordinate our robust Immersion program in which over 35 high schools and universities from all over the US come to Dolores Mission for an Immersion experience with us and our partner agencies. In addition, the JVC will assist, support, and bring about the objectives of the youth program under the direct supervision of the Youth Ministry Coordinator.

Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School - Arrupe Fellow: The role of the Arrupe Fellow will be to help students "recognize and realize their full potential" through Campus Ministry, the classroom, and Work-Study.

Women's Lunch Place - Direct Care Navigator: The Direct Care Navigator – Jesuit Volunteer is responsible for working in the Kitchen and on Support at the shelter and for organizing guest outings. This person will help to alleviate issues surrounding hunger, homelessness, poverty, addiction and compromised mental health issues faced by our community of women. They do this through direct service, responding to immediate needs, preparing food in our kitchen, and creating a staff presence to promote a safe and community-based atmosphere in the shelter.

Women's Resource Center, Inc. - Counselor Advocate: The Women’s Resource Center is seeking a Counselor Advocate to provide crisis intervention, individual and group empowerment counseling, advocacy, accompaniment, and case management to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking and human trafficking. 

N Street Village - Program Associate: The program associate will work closely with the Program Manager of Wellness Services to run the daily operations of the Wellness Center. The program associate will be a vital piece of a fast-paced program that allows for constant interaction with the clients/residents and volunteers. The program associate will oversee the operation of the Wellness Center which is runs Monday through Thursday from 9:30 to 4pm; Fridays are designated as administrative days to complete the necessary paperwork/data of client interactions. The program associate will be responsible for the activity calendar of programming classes/events (one-time and scattered), supervising the entire 2nd floor to include volunteers, clients/residents and activities. The program associate also assists the medical/dental clinic staff to ensure accuracy of service and documentation. The program associate will be responsible for the operation of the Wellness Center front desk and allocation of OTC meds and first aid items.
