Placement Sites and Agency Roles

We call the service fields listed below “Apostolate Groups.” Volunteers who work in similar Apostolate Groups will have the chance to connect with one another throughout the year to work through various challenges. Think of it like another layer of support from people who understand the work you’re doing!

Toggle between the two tabs below to gain a better idea about the type of agencies that JVC partners with and the roles you might serve. Click on the drop-down bars for each Apostolate. Not all agency partners and roles are listed, but we invite you to explore them and let us know if any of them particularly interest you.

Former Jesuit Volunteers Encapsulate Their Experience in a Phrase

At events or in our travels, we managed to meet FJVs with service years ranging from 1963-2019! Recently, we've been asking FJVs that we've seen to share a word or phrase that encapsulated their JV experience. Here's a snapshot of what they had to say. Enjoy the video and see if you can spot an FJV from the year(s) you served!
