Jesuit Volunteer Corps Welcomes Three New Board Members


Baltimore, Maryland 19 November 2024 – Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC) is pleased to announce the appointment of three distinguished leaders to its Board of Directors: Felipe Chaquea, Strategy and Analytics Leader with Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT); Mike Marsh, National Managing Director with Princeton Global Asset Management; and Joseph Mouzon, Chief Operating Officer with Oakstop.

Each new board member brings invaluable expertise and deep commitment to JVC’s mission of empowering young adults to create transformative change in marginalized communities. With 19 Jesuit Volunteer communities across the country working in 15 diverse areas of service—including education, health care, housing, social services, immigration, and environmental justice—JVC’s work impacts countless lives through its commitment to social justice and solidarity.

Felipe Chaquea, is a seasoned leader in strategy and analytics, with extensive experience in mission-driven initiatives that empower underrepresented communities. His deep knowledge of education, workforce, and workplace dynamics, along with his consulting expertise, will support JVC’s growth and strengthen its mission alignment.

Mike Marsh, has an extensive background in investment management and strategic consulting. His knowledge and insights will be invaluable as JVC strengthens its financial foundation to meet the needs of a growing volunteer network. His strong ties to Jesuit organizations and dedication to Jesuit traditions will inspire the Board and the broader JVC community as they continue their impactful work.

Joseph Mouzon is an experienced social impact professional and business manager with 25 years of executive leadership responsibility, His areas of expertise include Board leadership and governance, social entrepreneurship, finance and operations.
