JVC in Berkeley
Casa TBow is located in South Berkeley, the center of the city’s African-American community. South Berkeley is home to the first tool lending library, the La Peña Cultural Center, the Berkeley Bowl (an incredibly food diverse grocery store), and the Ashby BART flea market.
The JV house is also near the University of Berkeley and is within walking distance of several parks, eateries, and grocery stores. JVs have loved exploring all of the different areas within Berkeley and attending community events. They have also appreciated the easy access to San Francisco and the ability to explore all that the Bay has to offer.
